Encrypt your messages
If you want to keep other people from being able to read the content of your SMS or iMessages, and protect yourself from wandering eyes and excessive curiosity, encrypt your messages using Wabiz. The application allows you to encrypt all the messages you send from your smartphone.
How does Wabiz encrypt SMS messages?
- After opening the Wabiz application, click the message button on the bottom left.
- Enter the text of your SMS and slide to encrypt.
- Choose the recipient and send method and whoosh! – your encrypted SMS is sent.
- Don’t forget to give the recipient the password, or he won’t be able to read the encrypted SMS.
What types of messages can I encrypt?
You can encrypt not only all SMS messages, but also Apple iMessages and emails sent from any smartphone running iOS or Android. In fact, you can use Wabiz to encrypt any text present on or entered into your smartphone, and once it is encrypted, you can use it in any third-party application you choose.
Accessing encrypted SMS messages
Your smartphone processes encrypted SMS messages just like any other SMS: they are filed as part of a conversation under the name of your contact. No one can read them, except for you. Read them by clicking on the encrypted text to launch the application. Wabiz will ask you for your secret password; once you have entered it, the application can decipher the SMS and display the unencrypted message. When you have read the message, close the window; the message will appear as encrypted again, and no one but you will be able to read and understand it. It’s so easy and tempting to pick up someone’s smartphone and read their private conversations.
Now you have nothing to fear from over-curious family members, friends, or work colleagues.
